Since our forms are really awesome at helping small business owners provide meaningful information about their business for use on their website, we HIGHLY recommend the following to prevent loosing your work due to internet interruption, battery failure or some other scary event that would stop this form before you can hit save. Images:
High quality/high resolution files of any images you wish to have displayed
(where you have a current website: we can obtain any images already on your site in their current size and quality, however, if you have any others you would like put up or higher quality images please send these on).

The quality of images used on a website can make or break the overall design and professional look. Old, fuzzy, small, faded, scanned in, low resolution poor quality images will have a poor result for your site. Best results are achieved by using quality images; either by a professional photographer or by purchasing professional stock images online. We can only upload what you provide to us, so please take this into account when providing us with your desired images for use on your site.

IMPORTANT - Key requirements for your images:

Image file format: .jpeg or .png

Image sizes: Anything over 1GB per image is way too large. You will have to reduce the size of the image to less than 1GB per image.

Image Quantity: The # of images (provided by you, the client) to be incorporated into your site (where suited to the design and purpose) are based on the package you have chosen. Where images are provided above this qty, additional fees apply. Where excess images are provided for us to ‘choose from’, additional fees apply (as opposed to client providing just the exact images desired to be shown, and within the package limits).
How to name your images:
- Name your image files properly from the start. There are numerous reasons for this: Not only does this make it super easy to communicate how we file/tag them on your website for showcasing, but it also communicates what ‘alt tags’ we input on your site for viewers. It may also help with website search results. Naming your image files appropriately is key – yes it takes time but it’s worth it and needed to communicate effectively what goes where on your site. (Quality image naming should be standard practice for future filing purposes anyway)
- DO NOT USE SPACES when naming files of any kind that have to be uploaded to the internet (it creates those awful % signs, which Google doesn't love - so we just don't do it - bossy aren't we? :))
- Put Company Name first, then the item description of the image. If you have two or more similar items put a number at the end. For example…
  - Company-Name-Item-1
  - Company-Name-Item-2
  - XYZ-Company-Launch-Party-Group-Photo-1
  - XYZ-Company-Launch-Party-Group-Photo-2
Any additional renaming of images by us will attract additional fees – our hourly rate applies

Images may be sent in any of the following ways:
1. By Dropbox (Create a specific folder for the files to be shared, ensure your business name is at the front of the folder name and share to [email protected])
2. By Google Drive (Create a specific folder for the files to be shared, ensure your business name is at the front of the folder name and share to [email protected])
3. A zipped file (e-mailed to [email protected])

Scenario 1 - If you have your e-mails with separate e-mail hosting and are keeping them there:
Nothing needs changing your end for your e-mails as these will not be affected. However, to activate your new website we will need to know what settings are to be put in place to tell the domain hosting that your e-mails are with one host and your website is with our host. You will need your IT provider to supply the ‘A record’ details to us accordingly. Note: If you do not have an IT provider and wish for us to process this for you, additional fees apply as this is outside of our quoted scope of works.

Scenario 2 - If you have your e-mails with separate e-mail hosting and you are not keeping them there:
Once the site goes live you will be able to receive e-mails from your existing addresses from your old/previous hosting until it expires. Prior to expiry you will need to purchase new e-mail hosting and have this set up (you can still use the same e-mail account names if you wish, just that the hosting provider will be different). We use and recommend Google Apps for e-mail hosting. It’s approx. $50 per account per annum and comes with a whole host of other features that are useful for business operators.
