Our sites have a clean look and feel, are simple to navigate and easy to update. You don’t need any specific software to update your site – just an Internet connection. This is due to having an easy to use click and type, cloud based content management system that can be accessed from any web browser. Only basic knowledge of word processing systems such as MS Word and online navigation such as Facebook are needed to update your own content. This enables business operators to be self-sufficient for future updates/changes if they choose. Alternatively, we can take care of any future updates for a nominal fee.
Who we are and what we do
Where Nerdyness stands out from other web design providers (outside of having an awesome business name!) is that our background is in Small Business, Sales and Marketing, as well as Content Writing.
Whilst Nerdyness was launched in 2014, Rose the Founder (that’s me!) has been around for a while (I look 21 of course!) but let’s just say I have been involved in sales and marketing, customer service and streamlining business processes for over 25 years. Having worked for large international organisations to one-person-band set-ups, I’ve learnt a lot about the varying needs of businesses, specifically their desire to showcase their offerings whilst achieving a link to who they are and what they stand for. Staying true to your goals and vision is important when marketing your product and service to the outside world, and this is where we shine.
Our web design services are suited to small business owners that don’t just want an out of the box online solution, but rather helpful guidance through one of the biggest barriers to achieving their online business presence - content! Most business owners are busy doing what they do best, running their business and provided great products/service to their clients. How to write about this and present well online doesn’t always form part of the same job description, nor should it. This is where Nerdyness comes in. That’s right - we don’t just create a site, give you a username and password and let you go. Your site needs to perform its purpose; to do that it must have engaging content that is search engine friendly and with the end users in mind - after all, that’s what it’s all about - looking after your customers wants and needs.
