The Misbehaving Ferret We’re so excited to present this site out into the online universe! Rod Pettet is a local Hervey Bay Author, releasing his first book ‘The Misbehaving Ferret’ early 2017. We’ve sat next to Rod for many a review session at Coffee Club in Hervey Bay; from reviewing graphics providers for the front cover to discussing marketing ideas for the book launch. We’re so excited this dream is now a reality for Rod and we’re honoured to be a part of that journey. Rod was needing a website that would showcase the newly printed children’s book ‘The Misbehaving Ferret‘. The book is available from Amazon in Kindle format (include link), however the website was needed to not only promote the e-book Kindle version but to provide a place to order the physical paperback copy. We provided advice on layout, content and setting up the payment processing aspect for online sales, ensuring there were plenty of social sharing links throughout the site to help spread the word. We ended up going with PayPal for the payment processor, which can also take Visa/MasterCard without the buyer having to have a PayPal account (a common misconception). We also covered shipping wording and enabling the capacity to change the qty purchased at checkout (great presents for the family from a local Author, and did we mention FREE Shipping Australia-Wide ?!). One of our favourite parts of this project was creating the images used for the free colouring-in download and the one used to promote the colouring-in competition through Mary Ryan’s bookstore. Brightwater Thai Massage Client Name: Brightwater Thai Massage - Sunshine Coast Case Study: Our client did not have an existing website and needed assistance with layout and the ideal content and helpful information to convey to viewers. Needing guidance on the layout and what content should be included which would be helpful to visitors to the site and also what should be adjusted for their branding as it wasn’t quite resonating with their target market. We made a very stylish, modern site with user friendly navigation that made it super easy for visitors to their site to make contact and book in. We also helped remove confusion with the branding, and gave our client some helpful tips on showing up highly on Google search results in their area. We LOVE the colours. We’ve only had one other purple branded client before, so we were so excited to know that Brightwater Thai Massage had purple branding! (Yes, we need to get out more, but still, we appreciate these awesome differences in our work with clients - we are Nerds after all!). And having been a client of Brigthwater Thai massage myself I can honestly say that their service is brilliant, their treatment rooms are designed for a very comfortable experience and I will definitely be back! Our adjustment to the branding will be definitely having an impact and bringing in more ideal customers, and enabling them to be found and considered my more viewers. MJ United Plumbing and Drainage LOVING the style of this site, we’ve got some great image transitions going on, looks fab on mobile and tablet (but of course), navigation is clean and easy to use and as always, the phone and e-mail contact details are clickable to work from phone/tablet, making it so much easier for customers to make contact on their device of choice, fuss-free. We got to use some really nice high quality images, all of which suited the business category and look pretty darn spiffy if we do say...
